Mobile Assistance Center (MAC)
For more than 80 years, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma (BCBSOK) has been committed to supporting the health and wellness of all Oklahomans. One of the ways they’re doing this is with a dedicated team to help people understand their individual insurance options.
The BCBSOK Mobile Assistance Center (MAC) team is a group of licensed community outreach specialists, ready to help people navigate their options in a one-on-one, private setting.
The team travels across the state to personally assist individuals and their families with enrolling in health insurance coverage that best meets the needs of their family and determine if an individual qualifies for financial assistance to help cover their monthly payments.
The MAC’s dedicated team can help individuals with all coverage options including Medicare plans, individual retail marketplace plans, group plans and federal employee plans. They can also help current BCBSOK members with claim questions, help find providers in their network and continuing educational outreach on maximizing their health insurance benefits.
Oklahomans who have been impacted by a job loss or loss of coverage may quality for a special enrollment period up to 60 days after a qualifying event. Citizens of a federally-recognized tribe can enroll any time, year-round.
